Youth vote key in Indonesia election

In Indonesia, there will be a president election on July 9^th, 2014. For youth people, this is their first time to vote for a new president. Their votes determine whether Indonesia would be better or not. Some of them are taking a challenge to take part in campaign to make sure that their votes are heard. The others think that it does not matter whether they would vote or not if there is only 1 person, it would not make a change. So, this is their opportunity to vote for a new president and make a change in a “New Indonesia”.

There was a girl named Pingkan. She and her friends collaborated to make a programme named Ayo Vote. At one mall in Jakarta, they made an event to present to young adults about the election itself. They showed all the parties that took part in the election. This event was a big challenge which encouraged young people to engage. Although they are interested such as 17 and 18 years old, they would engage the election. This is their first time. Most of them are excited but they are afraid as well because that would be matter if they vote the wrong president.

The last president of Indonesia is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. He already took 2 terms or he already led Indonesia for 10 years. Some critics said that the old political parties didn’t energize Indonesia’s young people. They seemed many differences in the old generation and the new one. In the old one, many people took part in campaign for every party. They were active in every election. But the new one make the young people turn to be a passive people. They just search the information from the social media without take part in or engage to be a part of every party. Of course it makes a change in the way they communicate with other people. By this Ayo Vote programme, it would make the young people know about the election itself because this programme provided a lot of information about the parties.

The candidates for a new president are Joko Widodo who is elected for Jakarta’s government. The other one is Prabowo Subianto. He is a person with a modern vision who is making a change for his image by joining a formal general vision mission for adopting democratic activist.

Pingkan and her friends hope that this programme would make a change in every young people’s mind about this election.

Sugar gliders (SG) is becoming one of the favorite animals to raise. The furry mammals have a variety of uniqueness, of which have a pouch (marsupials) to 'save' her children, SG likes insects and sweet foods, that is why the name is "Sugar Glider". SG can fly low like a squirrel with wings as well. Small body size of a fist-adults-make this animal can be put in a pocket and taken anywhere. Among animal lovers, there are two types of SG, which are wild-caught and captive breeds. Both of them have their own advantages.

If you want to adopt sugar slider, you'd better buy this book first. This book is very good to the owner of sugar glider because it has a lot of information about sugar glider. It is very useful.  It says that before you buy a couple of SG, you have to know the seller that you can trust and has responsibility about the SG itself and if you already bought SG, you'd better buy the baby one or we called it "Joey" because it will make you easier to make SG tame. A little story of 2 Gliders

Once upon a time, there was a little animal named Iggy. She was a sugar glider. She was adopted when she was 2months. She was not tame at that time so the owner had to interact with her as often as possible. The owner took her to somewhere to interact with her.

Day by day she was getting tame. She was not crabbing anymore.
The owner didn't know whether Iggy was already tame or not but the owner kept interacting with her. Everyday the owner found some oddity in her. She turned to be a quiet animal. She spent all of her time just doing nothing in her pouch.

The owner thought that she was lonely so1 month later, the owner's dad gave her 1 sugar glider again. It's male! It meant Iggy got a partner. Maybe "partner in crime". His name was John. She felt no longer lonely and she began to play together with John. They spent their time to play or hang out together.  John really changed her life. Iggy turned to be an aggressive animal. She was always happy. 2 moths later, the owner decided to let them be free in the forest because she thought that they would be so happy if she let them go. They could go anywhere.

They have been together for  6months. They got married in the next 1months. Iggy looked so beautiful with the dress that she wore and John looked so gorgeous with the suit that he wore. They were so happy in their wedding day.

3 months later, they got 1 child named Gorge. Since that day, John, Iggy, and Gorge lived in a small hut in the forest.Finally, they lived happily ever after.

New Pet!!!

Hi! This is the time to tell a story about my new pet!
3 days ago, i bought a new pet. First i wanted to buy 2 rabbits, but my mom didn't allow me to buy it, i don't know why. she just said that it is hard to keep rabbits clean, and they have to be in a good place to play..
well.. she made me change my mind. i was thinking what pet i should buy to be my soulmates at home.
then my uncle asked me to buy "sugar glider", i didn't know what it is. he told me about that animal, that was soooooo great! and i decided to buy that animal. it is pretty expensive, but it is worthy. this is a good animal! it is female. she is friendly and really cute.
she hasn't got the name. does anyone have any idea about it? :-)

Hello, there! I'm the girl whose name is Venna Monitha Riyadie, but everyone calls me Venna or just Ve. This is my first blog. Let me tell you a little story about me.17 years ago, I came to this world. Into this beautiful world. I was born in Jakarta, on February 5th, 1997.  I have 1 sister whose age is 21. When i was kid, everyone thought that i am a boy. Oh God. How could that be? I know when i was kid, my style was like a boy. I had a short hair, I didn't play doll and most of my friends are boys. I think have a boy friend is a great thing. I didnt know still about it. I just did. Well.. on my 5 years old, I joined my elementary school. You know.. im the youngest one in the class. How sad! All of my friends were 6 years old. Yes, I really wanted to join that school as soon as possible because i just felt like i was so bored at home and didnt know what to do. So i told my mum, "Mum, i really want to go there. I am really bored." and then my mum replied, "ohh dear, you are still 5 years old. You cant get it now. Next year is going to be your first year." . Poor me! but i told my mum about it constantly, maybe my mum felt fed-up with it. So she gave up. Yay! Finally, i started my first class in 2002 and graduated in 2008. I got so much experiences there. and then i continued to the junior high school in 2008 and graduated in 2014. Huh. There are so many story in junior high school but i may tell you guys later.. in 2011 i started my senior high school in 5 senior high school. Well... actually i didnt want to study there. Sorry for this, I dont like the school. but i couldnt do anything with that. I had to follow all the rules and tried to like and love that school. I dont like the school, but i LOVE all the students who are so kind and care to each other. They helped me to love the school but they couldnt. I tried to love that school until i've finished study there. From that weird school. But in the end, i never like that school! I've graduated on last May 2014. Graduation day is such the greatest moment in the senior high school eventhough i hate it.

now i am studying in Binus University. actually i havent started yet. its still pre-university. i've wanted this university since i was in junior high school. ThankGod i got it. my major is information system. Im so glad to be here.

i think it is enough for this. glad to share my story with you. i'll post something later.
